“ACT-ADEMICS” Fast paced, energetic, stimulating, and educational . . . ! Through performance, puppetry and audience participation, this program explains and shows students how dance, music and drama can interact with mathematics, science and literature in everyday life. This theatrical troop of four, (assisted by three charming puppets) presents a program that will teach and reach your elementary students through demonstrations and hands-on interaction and participation. The Theatre Companies objective is to enlighten elementary aged children about the marvelous world of the Theatre, both in front and behind the curtain – where it started, what it is and how to become involved. In conclusion the troop will give their audience a sample of a “REAL” production and hopefully leave them with a stronger appreciation for the performing arts.
