The commitment of educating our children for the future and providing them with a well-rounded education, is one of the greatest responsibilities we have as a society. For more than fifty years, Artistic Resource for Teachers and Students, (A.R.T.S.) Inc. has maintained a firm commitment to produce and render quality Arts-In-Education programming throughout the State of Utah.

I believe it is a great asset for our state to be home to a professional Arts-In-Education program of this caliber. Since 1961, A.R.T.S., Inc. has provided educational arts programs in every elementary school in Salt Lake and Davis Counties. Our goal is to play a decisive role, through the arts in a students development.

Arts are essential to our families and our communities…! In 2010-2011 we will provide more than 600 programs reaching an estimated 200,000 children throughout forty-one school districts. With a proposed budget of $250,000.00, A.R.T.S., Inc. could offer every elementary school in the State of Utah several extraordinary educational arts’ programs. This would make it possible for us to make a difference in the lives of more than 475,000 students annually. This is an investment of less than $0.53 per student. Each District/School that affiliates in our Arts-In-Education program will contribute approximately 20% of the total cost with the remaining 80% being raised through grants, sponsorships and private donations.

It is a tremendous honor for me to be affiliated with this organization and make a difference in education of our children.
